The C.H.I.M.E.S. Prevention Program is a 10 week virtual cohort designed to prevent families from having involvement with the Child Welfare system. Participants are offered resources, a support group, services, professional support. Active participants recieve stipends for participation.
Requirements for C.H.I.M.E.S. Prevention Program:
Must be an expecting parent or a parent to a child of the age 13 months or younger.

C.H.I.M.E.S. stands for : Community is Here to Intervene for More Equitable Solutions. The C.H.I.M.E.S. program is specifically designed to focus on 3 areas: Prevention, Retention, and Reunification.

Through seed funding from the Black Future Co-Op Fund and the Community Learning Grant from Group Health Foundation, C.H.I.M.E.S. launched in March of 2021!
Our experienced team of advocates offer culturally-sensitive support for families in the child welfare system, with emphasis on Black and Brown families.
