The Epa (pronounced, eh-pah) is the Adinkra symbol for law and justice and is currently represented in the IBJ's present logo. The two interlocking chain links in the forearm of the fist are the Epa symbol.
When we ask people to make an Epa Pledge, we are asking them to make a pledge to advance freedom, equity, and justice.
